The following is provided as a guide for determining expected costs for various services provided at Integrative Pain Solutions. The actual price may be more or less depending on the exact area(s) being treated, the specific type(s) of treatments employed, as well as whether or not it is necessary to enrich treatment solutions with constituents such as Growth Hormone or Hyaluronidase.
For example, a patient may present with a complaint of “back pain.” A thorough History and Physical Examination, however, may reveal that the pain is coming not only from the low back (Lumbar region), but that the pelvis, lumbosacral junction, sacroiliac joints, hips, and even specific nerves may be involved in the production of pain. The doctor will discuss with you the various available treatment options and his suggestions for the most effective approach.
A recommended therapeutic regimen, for example, may involve Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), Prolotherapy (Regenerative Injection Therapy), Perineural Anti-Inflammatory Therapy, etc. or frequently, a combination of therapies for best result. If, for example, you present with a complaint of low back pain and prolotherapy is recommended, proper assessment may show that the lumbar spine (low back) and both sacroiliac joints are involved. Your health investment would, therefore, include your office visit fee plus $170 for prolotherapy of the lumbar region plus $255 for prolotherapy of the bilateral sacroiliac joints.
Another example: ‘hip’ pain may actually be due to a combination of sacroiliac joint injury – requiring prolotherapy ($150) – and damage to multiple nerves – requiring PAInT (Perineural Anti-INflammatory Therapy – likely $190-$290) in addition to the office visit/assessment fee.
On the other hand, your back pain might involve only manipulation – a fee of $97 plus your assessment fee.
Each case is individually and carefully assessed with treatment being completely individualized – NOT to maximize profit, but to maximize your recovery.
